Your Questions Answered: Marion Nestle On Soda And Healthy Food Systems

Most people know soda isn’t great for them. But not many people know just how bad it is for them, says Marion Nestle, who wrote her latest book, “Soda Politics,” to encourage people to have more conversations — and demand better information — about healthy diets.

The problem, Nestle says, is that information is hard to come by — and when it’s available, it’s often confusing. She sat down with listeners in a live Facebook Q&A after our program to answer questions about how much sugar is too much, and what we can do to be better informed consumers.
