Edward Steichen was one of the twentieth century’s most influential photographers. When he and his wife Joanna married, he was 81 and she was 27. At his death in 1973, she became the executor of his estate, and in her book, she shares not only the best of his work, but also her personal recollections of her husband, as an artist and as a man.
