Last year was the hottest on record. 2024 is predicted to be another record year. And we are seeing the very real effects of this changing climate in more intense forest fires, and more severe and unpredictable weather. This has pushed the idea of geoengineering, or deliberately intervening in climate systems, closer to reality.
