The former Washington National Airport is now Ronald Reagan National Airport. A large, new building in downtown Washington, D.C. carries his name. Now the move is on to erect a memorial to the 1980s-era president on the National Mall, despite the fact that the plans violate longstanding rules governing what can be built there.
