Journalist Robert Ruby tells the story of England’s first colony in the New World – which was not in Jamestown or Roanoke or Plymouth, but in the Canadian Arctic. The island was in a region known as "Meta Incognita" – or "Unknown Shore," the title of Ruby’s new book.
