In 1982, Jonathan Schell told of the devastating consequences of a nuclear holocaust in his book ‘The Fate of the Earth.’ In a new book he examines why nuclear weapons appear to be enjoying something of a renaissance. He also explains how the abolition of nuclear weapons can be achieved.
