Demonstrators in Berkeley, California took to the streets last night to express outrage over what they see as long standing racial inequities in the U.S. criminal justice system. The demonstrations in California and those in other cities including New York and Washington, D.C., were sparked, in part, by two recent grand jury decisions not to indict white police officers involved the deaths of unarmed black man.
